Slosberg-King is a Florida native and lifelong resident of Palm Beach County. As a teenager, she endured a tragic car accident that resulted in the loss of her twin sister, Dori, as well as four other individuals. Another victim, also a teenager, was left a quadriplegic as a result of the crash.
This experience propelled Slosberg-King into a lifetime spent pursuing justice for crash victims. She holds degrees from Florida Atlantic University (BA) and Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law (JD).
Slosberg-King, a member of the Florida Democratic Party, served as a representative for the Boca Raton area in the Florida House of Representatives from 2016 to 2022. She successfully ran for office in 2016. She was re-elected in 2018 and 2020, representing House District 91, encompassing parts of Delray Beach, Boca Raton, and Boynton Beach. In 2018, she introduced and passed legislation that makes texting and driving in Florida a primary offense.
Throughout her tenure, Slosberg-King has focused on enhancing traffic safety, successfully advocating for improving school bus safety, as well as enacting legislation centered on crime victims. Slosberg-King also founded the Dori Slosberg Foundation, a non-profit committed to promoting roadway safety. She served as the CEO for the foundation, a cause inspired by her personal tragedy and loss of her sister.
Slosberg-King limits her practice to personal injury, offering representation for those injured due to negligence. Her practice also
